Farheen has a Masters in Psychology Degree from the Bangalore University. She has been doing social work since 2005 by providing  counselling in slum schools . She was Medical Director at Giants International under the able leadership of Mr. Nana Chudasama.

She has been on the Board of Founders of Dharam Bharthi Mission - an NGO which works towards improving the quality of life for the underprivileged. along with Mr. Paramjeet Singh.

She is also on the Internal Complaints Committee of various companies.
